Belarusian government honors 2025 quality excellence award laureates

BelTA) – The Palace of the Republic in Minsk hosted the ceremony for the 2025 Belarusian Government Quality Excellence Award on 15 July, BelTA has learned.
Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich noted that in 2026, the award is being presented for the 27th time. Interest in the competition grows every year. It serves as an effective tool for demonstrating achievements in implementing innovative, highly efficient production technologies and management practices aimed at maximizing customer satisfaction and sustainable development.
“Participation in the competition provides an opportunity for an objective, independent assessment of an enterprise’s performance in the field of quality. Winning the award is not only state recognition of worthy results, but also an excellent opportunity for further prospective development and the implementation of new projects. Improving the quality of products manufactured in real economy and in the services industry is under the special control of the head of state and the government. Rather challenging tasks have been defined for all industries,” Viktor Karankevich said.
The result of this work is the growth of Belarusian exports of goods and services, as well as the recognition of the national brand Made in Belarus in more than 150 countries worldwide. For January–May 2026, the growth rate of exports of goods and services nationwide amounted to 114.6 % compared to the same period in 2025. The teams of the award-winning organizations contributed to the sustainable development of the economy, strengthening the technological and production potential, and the independence of the country. Viktor Karankevich thanked the executives and employees of the enterprises for their high professionalism, dedication, initiative, and high level of responsibility
“I would like to urge you not to rest on your laurels, but to advance, implement innovative projects, and introduce modern equipment and technologies with the automation of technological and business processes. This, in turn, will help maintain a high level of quality and competitiveness of your products both in the domestic market and abroad,” Viktor Karankevich said.
The deputy prime minister wished them not to miss any opportunities and to achieve even higher performance indicators.
The well-deserved awards were presented to 24 organizations: nine became laureates of the prize, and 15 reaffirmed their laureate status. Of these, four organizations were honored with special awards: Leadership, Management Excellence, Social Responsibility, and Lean Approach – the latter being presented for the first time in the competition’s history.
The winners represent the engineering, transport, electrical, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, as well as scientific, educational, and health resort institutions.
During the ceremony, the heads of a number of enterprises that achieved the highest results in the field of product (service) quality and systemic management were also awarded the Quality Leader badge. The winners of the 2025 Best Quality Manager and Best Student Thesis and Research Paper in the Field of Quality Management and Control competitions were recognized.
The event was accompanied by an exhibition of products from the award-winning enterprises of the 2025 competition.
The title of the laureate provides an organization with a reputation as a reliable manufacturer of high-quality and competitive products, contributes to the expansion of its sales markets, and opens up new business opportunities.
For three years, the laureates can use the emblem image in product labeling, documentation, and advertising materials.
Information about the winning enterprises is posted on the websites of the State Committee for Standardization (Gosstandart), and included in the annual catalog, which is sent to Belarusian foreign missions.
The award laureates include the University of Civil Protection of the Emergencies Ministry, Minskkhlebprom, Agrokombinat Dzerzhinsky, Baranovichi Auto Aggregate Plant, Domochai, Invet, Slutsk Cheese Factory, Belmedpreparaty, the Liotsy health resort, ZAO Avgust Bel, Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant, Grodno State Medical University, and others.
