Belarusian government approves VAT deferral procedure for legal entities

BelTA) – The government has approved the procedure for granting VAT deferrals to legal entities. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The resolution stipulates that for goods placed under the customs procedure of release for domestic consumption, legal entities are granted a VAT deferral for a period of no more than three months from the day following the release of the goods. The tax deferral is granted without interest charges provided that the fulfillment of the obligation to pay the tax is secured.
The resolution comes into force after its official publication and remains in effect until 30 June 2027.
