Belarusian PM attends Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Cholpon-Ata

BelTA) – A meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in a restricted format is underway in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, with the participation of Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The agenda features two main items: the progress in implementing common principles and approaches to ensuring food security among EAEU member states, and the development of trade and economic cooperation between the union and its key trading partners.
As BelTA has reported, the meeting will be held in both restricted and expanded formats. A total of 15 items are on the agenda.
The heads of delegations of the EAEU member states are expected to meet with Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov.
