“We are holding the first meeting of the Council of the House of Representatives this year. In fact, this year is the final year of the House of Representatives of the seventh convocation. And, of course, one of the main areas of our work is legislative activity. All the commissions did a good job last year. A total of 59 bills passed the first reading and 90 passed the second reading at the House of Representatives. In other words, a great deal of work was done. I would ask to maintain momentum that we gained last year, especially in the second half of last year,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.

According to him, 26 bills are currently being discussed by standing commissions. “21 bills need to be considered in the second reading. In fact, this is 80 % of the bills that need to be considered in the second reading. We are having a plenary meeting tomorrow, and we will discuss these issues and our tasks in more detail,” the speaker noted.
