Belarus, Transnistria to foster cooperation

CHISINAU, 29 May (BelTA) – Companies of Belarus and the Transnistria region of Moldova (Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic) are set to intensify cooperation and expand mutual supplies, BelTA learnt from the Transnistria Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The agreement was reached during the talks between representatives of the Transnistria companies with the Belarusian partners at the 14th international universal expo Spring in Gomel.

This year partaking in the exposition prepared jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Transnistria were the companies of the Transnistria region such as Khlebodar, Odema, Rustas and the sanatorium Dnestrovskiye Zori.

Meetings were held with representatives of the Belarusian companies: Gomeloblpishcheprom, SOZH, the Gomel Oblast Consumer Union, Khladkombinat, Galantereyatekstiltorg, Electrkoapparatura, Gomel Winery, Sakhartorg. All the participants of the negotiations expressed readiness for cooperation. The meeting with the Gomselmash management focused on the prospects of supplying Belarusian agricultural equipment to the Transnstria region.
